Job Purpose

  • While participating in a development program to develop the skill sets required for Workshop and/or Subsea Services Engineering, incumbent will assist in providing technical analyses, solutions, and recommendations to Operations Customer in accordance with TechnipFMC procedures and  Project Manual.
  • Development will be tracked throughout the development period and progression will be contingent upon meeting sets of minimum requirements.

Job Description

  • Participates in projects under supervision of more senior engineers and assists them in different engineering topics.
  • Provides technical assistance within projects and manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites.
  • Writes and issues technical specifications and reports related to own activities within SSE projects and/or operations.
  • Assists in the development of design basis for projects and/or manufacturing operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen
  • BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with a first professional experience in the field
  • Strong basic knowledge in engineering
  • Show evidence of good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Service/Customer oriented
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and project culture
  • Good command of English

 

Skills:

  • PC literate: MS Office competence required, previous experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Candidates must possess excellent understanding of Engineering practices, design methods & calculations.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct detailed Engineering analyses, and provide recommendations and solutions under reasonable supervision of a senior engineer.
  • Ability to write technical reports and provide presentations.
  • Basic knowledge of Subsea Production System, Wellhead and Completion equipment.
