Base Pay: $17 – $18 Per Hour
Work Location: Remote

NEIS is seeking a Customer Support Representative as we continue to grow our team! Customer Support Representatives helps with any customer complaints, documents files and ensures excellent customer service is being met.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain working knowledge of customer requirements and apply them to all tasks handled
  • Understand what NEIS does and the purpose of performing audits and surveys in order to answer basic questions
  • Field customer communications, provide accurate and thorough responses
  • Properly document case file progress reports
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Respond thoroughly and promptly to customer inquiries
  • Acknowledge and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
  • Actively participate in team meetings and provide feedback
  • Strictly follow all security requirements

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Positive attitude and adaptability
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
  • Proficient use of phones, computer software, and technology
  • Experience working with customer support
  • Familiarity with various file formats
  • Working knowledge using Microsoft applications
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Trouble-shooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
